What is GentleMax Pro ® Laser? 

GentleMax Pro Plus® is an advanced dual-wavelength laser platform that combines two powerful technologies to target unwanted hair while protecting the surrounding skin. The combination of both 755 nm Alexandrite and 1064 nm Nd:YAG lasers allows for safe, precise, and effective hair removal across a wide range of skin tones while helping protect the surrounding skin. Recognized as a gold standard in laser hair removal, GentleMax Pro Plus® delivers powerful results with speed, safety, and minimal discomfort.

What to Expect During Treatment

  • Treatment Time: Treatment time depends on the size of the area being treated. Small areas, such as the upper lip or chin, may take as little as 10 minutes, while larger areas like the legs or back may take 30 to 45 minutes. 

  • Comfort: Most patients describe treatment as a quick snapping sensation. The built-in Dynamic Cooling Device™ (DCD™) delivers a cooling mist before each laser pulse to enhance comfort and help protect the skin. 

  • Number of Sessions: Most patients need a series of at least 6 treatments per area for optimal results, though some may require additional sessions. Areas such as the underarms, bikini line, arms, and legs often respond more quickly, while facial hair, especially on the lip and chin, can be more resistant. Treatments are typically spaced 4 to 8 weeks apart. 

Downtime and Healing Time

Laser hair removal with GentleMax Pro Plus® requires little to no downtime. 

Immediately After Treatment
You may notice mild redness or slight swelling around the hair follicles, similar to small mosquito bites. These effects are temporary and usually resolve within 30 minutes. 

In the Days Following Treatment
Treated hairs may begin to shed over the following days to weeks, which is a normal part of the process. 

After treatment, we recommend: 

  • Gently cleansing and moisturizing the treated area  

  • Wearing daily sun protection with SPF 30 or higher  

  • Avoiding strenuous exercise, heat exposure, and alcohol for 24 to 48 hours 

When Will I See Results? 

Many patients notice softer, finer hair after just one treatment. With each session, hair becomes thinner, lighter, and less noticeable. Best results are achieved with a full series of treatments.
